Christina Rosenthal

Christina created the graphics for “When Rick Was Sick.”

A native of southern California, Christina Rosenthal resides in Carlsbad. Being a lifelong artist came naturally to Rosenthal. Both of her parents were visual artists.

Jewelry, textile and fashion design led Rosenthal to the world of high fashion. She also worked in the Hollywood film industry doing set decoration and scenic design.

A world traveler, Rosenthal immersed herself in the cultural life of the countries she visited. She has lived and worked in Mexico and Japan.

A gifted colorist and painter, Rosenthal has successfully collaborated with architects and designers, in both commercial and residential situations. Her murals have graced the homes of many celebrities and her painted children’s rooms have been cherished.

Her work ranges from easel painting to wall sized murals and book illustrations. Many people have commissioned and collected her work. "Like many people much of what I know about life, ethics, archetypical wisdom and love, I learned in my very early years reading books from the public library."
